Public Records Requests

The Placerville Fire Protection District is committed to transparency and provides access to public records in accordance with the Idaho Public Records Act (Idaho Code Title 74, Chapter 1).

Idaho law (§ 74-120) strictly prohibits people from using public records to create mailing or telephone lists for sale.

Requests received after 3:00 PM Mountain Time or on weekends/holidays will be deemed received on the next working day. District response times may vary based on residency or the complexity of request.

The District does not charge Idaho residents as defined in § 74-101(15) for the first two (2) hours of labor or the first 100 pages of standard black-and-white copies. An estimate of costs will be provided before work is performed.
