Ways to Help

Support Placerville Fire Protection District’s volunteer firefighters by helping at meetings, making or delivering food to firefighters in training or in the field, donating, or even joining our team of firefighters. No matter how you choose pitch in, we’re grateful for every helping hand.

Friends of Placerville Fire Inc is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that accepts donations and fundraises for the Placerville Fire Department. Monies go to supplement needs of the fire department and help cover costs of fundraising events. Friends of Placerville Fire, Inc is a tax-exempt public charity.

Rural Firefighters Support Fund

The Rural Firefighters Support Fund (RFSF) compliments the Friends of Placerville Fire with a complex and robust funding strategy for such things as facilities, training, equipment and other safety resources.

RFSF handles restricted donations, estate planning, grants and grant writing and complex legal donations for such things as land and facilities.

RFSF thanks all of the firefighters for their volunteer efforts to keep the community safe.
