Placerville Fire Protection District is a dedicated volunteer organization serving our community through fire suppression and prevention and excellent community service and education.

We are committed to providing a superior level of fire service that continually improves the quality of life and safety of the people who live and work in our community.

Faithful performance of duty and exemplary conduct will be guiding factors in evaluation of the personnel of the District. As part of this commitment, the Board of Commissioners and staff are actively reviewing the District’s Policies and Standard Operating Procedures. The Board discusses progress and revisions in our regular meetings. Once finalized, these documents will be posted.
